1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ShadowProof ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ShadowProof.
2. Description of Service
ShadowProof provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that routes your internet traffic through private US mobile IP addresses. The Service is available via our iOS application and managed through our web dashboard at shadowproof.app.
ShadowProof is designed to provide you with a private, reliable US mobile connection. We do not guarantee any specific outcome on third-party platforms, including but not limited to content reach, engagement, monetization, follower growth, or account standing.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to:
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You may not share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account. Each subscription is for individual use only.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
ShadowProof offers daily, weekly, and monthly subscription plans.
Apple In-App Purchases: Subscriptions purchased through Apple are governed by Apple's terms. They auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Web Subscriptions (Stripe): Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until then.
Refunds: All subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law. For App Store purchases, refunds are handled solely by Apple under their refund policy. You may cancel at any time to stop future charges.
Price Changes: We may change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate until the next renewal.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. Specifically, you may not use ShadowProof to:
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations
• Engage in fraud, identity theft, phishing, or financial crimes
• Distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, or other harmful software
• Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or conduct scam operations
• Access, distribute, or store child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm any person
• Infringe on intellectual property rights (piracy, copyright violation)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to computer systems or networks
• Launch denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks
• Scrape, crawl, or automated-harvest data from third-party services in violation of their terms
• Create fake, misleading, or unauthorized accounts on third-party platforms
• Artificially inflate views, followers, engagement, or metrics on any platform
• Share your VPN connection or credentials with others
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement authorities. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.
6. Abuse Reporting & Law Enforcement
ShadowProof maintains an abuse response process. If you believe our Service is being used for illegal activity, contact us at [email protected].
We cooperate with law enforcement agencies when presented with valid legal process (subpoenas, court orders, warrants). We may disclose account information, including email address, payment records, and connection timestamps, in response to lawful requests.
We do not log browsing history, DNS queries, or traffic content. However, we retain sufficient account and connection metadata to identify and terminate abusive users and to respond to valid legal requests.
7. Termination
By You: You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from the app settings or web dashboard. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if:
• You violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy
• We receive a valid legal request requiring suspension
• We detect activity that threatens the security or integrity of the Service
• Your payment method fails and is not updated within 7 days
Upon termination for cause, you forfeit any remaining subscription time and are not entitled to a refund. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service at all times. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for outages or performance issues caused by these providers, network conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, logos, trademarks, software, and content, is owned by ShadowProof and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHADOWPROOF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
ShadowProof does not guarantee any specific outcome on third-party platforms. We are not responsible for account suspensions, content removals, or other actions taken by third-party platforms.
11. Third-Party Services
ShadowProof is not affiliated with any social media platform, mobile carrier, or third-party service unless explicitly stated. We do not guarantee account approval, content reach, engagement, monetization, or access to any third-party platform.
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable third-party terms of service and policies when using those platforms through our Service.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
If you disagree with any changes, your remedy is to cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.
